EUSOBI 2022 – The Scandinavian Breast AI Experience

Scandinavia is at the forefront of research and adoption of AI in breast screening.
Are you attending EUSOBI 2022 in Malmo? You might want to learn more about the views from Sweden, Norway and Denmark in this special hot topic EUSOBI symposium on Friday 30th September between 10:00-10:30.

Three renowned experts in breast screening will present the latest clinical evidence and give their perspective on the use of AI in breast screening:

Kristina Lång
Kristina Lång is a consultant breast radiologist at Unilabs/Skåne University Hospital and associate professor in radiology at Lund University. She will speak about the MASAI trial, which is the first prospective randomized controlled trial that is focussed on the use of AI in breast screening as an alternative for double reading.

Solveig Hofvind
Solveig Hofvind will present the clinical evidence that supports the use of AI in BreastScreen Norway, which is the national breast cancer screening program in Norway. Solveig is head of this national breast cancer screening program, and also head of the mammography section at the Cancer Registry of Norway.

Ilse Vejborg
Ilse Vejborg is head of the Capital Mammography screening program in Denmark and also head of the department of breast examinations in the University Hospital Herlev Gentofte.
