Prof. Nico Karssemeijer, PhD
Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer, ScreenPoint Medical
Prof. Karssemeijer is Professor of Computer-Aided Diagnosis at Radboud University Nijmegen, and co-founder and CSO of ScreenPoint Medical, which he founded in 2014. The research group he built at Radboud University Medical Centre gained worldwide recognition for its pioneering work in breast imaging and computer-aided diagnosis, and he was closely involved in developing the R2 ImageChecker, the most widely used CAD system of its time.
He is also co-founder of Volpara Health Technologies and QView Medical, cementing his standing as the scientific architect behind Transpara.
