Transpara® Density

Report accurately and consistently

Breast density poses unique challenges within mammography and obscures risk. Transpara Density combines the power of two tailored algorithms: a BI-RADS-like breast density assessment as well as a volumetric breast density (VBD) assessment.

Together, these algorithms reduce variability and help to ensure compliance, consistency, and confidence.

In the USA, density reporting is now required by law per the MQSA Final Rule. By having density reported in parallel while reading, Transpara Density ensures enhanced efficiency and consistency from the start.

Two powerful algorithms in tandem

BI-RADS-like Composition

Conforming to reporting standards to help you comply with MQSA, Transpara Density features an algorithm that analyzes mammograms by BI-RADS-like (5th Ed.) breast composition categories

Available for both FFDM and DBT, Transpara Density offers a repeatable assessment of dense breast tissue in each mammogram.

Volumetric Breast Density

In clinical studies, VBD has been shown to be a strong predictor of the risk of developing breast cancer, and is included in the IBIS Breast Cancer Evaluation Tool (Tyrer-Cuzick V8).

Available at a glance, Transpara Density has been trained and refined with a ground truth dataset from breast MRI, offering you the information you need with confidence.
